OIG conducted an inspection in response to allegations that the Martinsburg VA Medical Center in Martinsburg, West Virginia, through its Harrisonburg Contracted Community Based Outpatient Clinic in Virginia, provided incomplete physicals and omitted digital rectal examinations to a patient over the course of 3 years. OIG did not substantiate that the patient’s physicals were not thorough and that digital rectal examinations were not addressed. We made no recommendations.
