Summary
The purpose of the review was to evaluate selected operations, focusing on patient care administration and quality management (QM). During the review, we provided crime awareness briefings to 499 employees. The review focused on eight operational activities. The facility complied with selected standards in the following six activities: (1) coordination of care, (2) magnetic resonance imaging safety, (3) physician credentialing and privileging, (4) QM, (5) reusable medical equipment, and (6) suicide prevention safety plans. The facility’s reported accomplishments were the Supportive Education for Returning Veterans Program and the Falls University project. We made recommendations for improvement in the following two activities: Medication management. Environment of care.
