Summary
The purpose of the audit was to determine whether Veterans Benefits Administration's (VBA) procedures ensured that the disability compensation benefits of active military reservists were properly offset from their training and drill pay. We concluded that improved procedures and communications among VBA, DoD, and veterans are needed to prevent payment of dual compensation to disability compensation beneficiaries who are active reservists.
