Kate Doyle Feingold
Acting Assistant Inspector General for Management and Administration

Kate Doyle Feingold was appointed Acting Assistant Inspector General for Management and Administration in June 2025. In this capacity, Ms. Doyle Feingold is responsible for providing comprehensive services throughout the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Inspector General (OIG), including information technology, operational planning, internal control oversight, training coordination, budgetary formulation and execution, space planning and facilities management, human resources management, and oversight and operations of the VA OIG’s nationwide toll-free hotline.
Prior to this role, she served as Acting Deputy Assistant Inspector General for Management and Administration since October 2024. Ms. Doyle Feingold joined the OIG in November 2020 as an attorney advisor in the Office of the Counselor. During her tenure she was responsible for providing legal advice related to artificial intelligence, privacy laws, criminal subpoenas, and data use agreements.
Prior to joining the OIG, she worked in private practice and served in the Marine Corps in many roles. Ms. Doyle Feingold is a member of the Virginia State Bar. She received her law degree from George Washington University Law School in Washington, DC, her PhD from George Mason University in Fairfax, VA, and her undergraduate degree from New York University in New York, NY.
